The Under-Secretariat of Fisheries (Subsecretaría de Pesca y Agricultura) has been active in developing the National Plan of Action to reduce the mortality of Albatrosses and Petrels in Argentina (NPOA-Seabirds) and, being the enforcement authority of fisheries policy, is responsible for the effective implementation, monitoring, control and monitoring of mitigation of seabird, particularly albatrosses and petrels interacting with fisheries arising from the NPOA-Seabirds.
