The ACAP Secondment Programme makes a call for applications

The Albatross and Petrel Agreement has established a secondment programme for the purpose of building capacity within its Parties and as a means of achieving tasks within the work programmes of its Advisory Committee and Secretariat (see the Report of the Seventh Meeting of the ACAP Advisory Committee, Annexes 5 and 4, respectively).

Total funding of approximately AUD 20 000 is available for the 2013-2014 secondment round for travel and living costs associated with secondees undertaking a placement at the Agreement’s Secretariat in Hobart or at another organisation.  Applications close on 25 November 2013.

The Agreement on the
Conservation of Albatrosses and Petrels

ACAP is a multilateral agreement which seeks to conserve listed albatrosses, petrels and shearwaters by coordinating international activity to mitigate known threats to their populations.
