ACAP welcomes Ecuador's new National Contact Point to the Agreement

A communication has been received that Ecuador, a Party to the Agreement, has appointed a new National Contact Point.

He is Daniel Ortega, from the Environment and Climate Change Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (contact at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

The ACAP Secretariat welcomes Daniel Ortega to this position and looks forward to working with him when the Sixth Advisory Committee convenes in Guayaquil, Ecuador from 29 August to 2 September this year (click here).

The Agreement on the
Conservation of Albatrosses and Petrels

ACAP is a multilateral agreement which seeks to conserve listed albatrosses, petrels and shearwaters by coordinating international activity to mitigate known threats to their populations.
