The mission of the National Patagonian Center (CENPAT-CONICET) is to promote the development of science, the generation of high-quality scientific and technological education, support the training of highly qualified human resources and active integration with the educational and productive region. Within their lines of research, there are projects related to the biology, behaviour, spatial ecology and conservation of albatrosses and petrels of the Argentine Continental Shelf
