Heritage Expeditions was formed in 1985, as a way of increasing awareness and conservation of the natural world through responsible expedition travel.  Heritage Expeditions visit the New Zealand sub-Antarctic islands - havens for some of the most abundant and unique wildlife on the planet. The islands are comprised of five groups: the Bounty Islands, the Antipodes, the Snares, the Auckland Islands and Campbell Island along with Australia's Macquarie Island.
