The National Parks Administration (Administración de Parques Nacionales, APN) of Argentina is a public body responsible for maintaining the National System of Protected Areas, aimed at conserving the biodiversity and archaeological heritage of the country. The conservation of albatrosses and petrels started after the creation of a National Park and several inter-jurisdictional parks in Patagonia that includes coastal regions of the Argentine Sea that overlaps with the breeding and foraging ranges of seabirds, particularly albatrosses and petrels.
