# Abstract submissions to the 11th SCAR Open Science Conference are open

The conference, themed, “Antarctic Science: Crossroads for a New Hope," is being held in Pucón, Chile, from 19-23 August 2024.

 “Abstracts can be submitted electronically via the conference website, [www.scar2024.org](https://www.google.com/url?q=https://scar.us7.list-manage.com/track/click?u%3Da611f6f7c375923d8563a8821%26id%3Dfc916771b9%26e%3D24ff63980c&sa=D&source=calendar&usd=2&usg=AOvVaw3nANWztNZKaKak0NOYl-3W). There is no abstract submission fee. The parallel sessions cover a wide range of themes from the Physical Sciences, Geosciences, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences as well as Cross-disciplinary topics.”
